Ok, so my friends Nicole and Michelle both nominated me for this award -
I am so touched and honored! Here's what they both had to say about me!

Laura at Now I'm a Mom is one of the most honest, hilarious people that I have ever had the pleasure of meeting. Oh yes, and she's beautiful too! She is also the Mom of another gentleman that I would love for Tarenne to marry someday. I know, I know she can't marry them all. Ryan just lives too far away or I may try to salvage my relationship with Tara Marie by encouraging this relationship more!

Laura has recently started blogging and for this I am grateful. Laura finds the humor in just about anything and her witty style and her “mom’s eye viewpoints” are, unquestionably, hard to match. All three of her children, I must add, are lovely beyond words.
Thank you ladies for your kind words! I adore both of you and your lovely families -
I like to think that I am still a "Rockin Girl" even some 30+ years and 3 kids later. One of my proudest "Rockin Girl" moments took place just last August, when I ended up on stage with my favorite band TRAIN in front of thousands of people. Pat Monahan and I sang together like we had been doing it for years! What usually is him singing to a girl for like a moment or two, turned into ME sharing the stage, and the mike with him for the entire song! Maybe 5-10 minutes!(OK, so I might be embellishing just a little bit!) But man, I kicked ass! Did I miss my true calling in life or what?! I always knew I was destined to be a Rock Star! LOL
I really love that band,(for anyone unfamiliar with them, they sing "Meet Virginia", "Drops of Jupiter", "Calling All Angels."...to name just a few) and that night was a dream come true....I even called it in the parking lot right before the concert....I told my hubby that he better have his camera phone ready because I was going to end up on stage with the band! He laughed and assured me he would be on top of it.
Needless to say, he wasn't....these shots were taken by the venue photographer....Mark didn't even realize it was me on stage til halfway thru my duet! LOL (My friend Linda (huge TRAIN fan also) had better seats than we did) so before the show, we decided that Linda and I would sit in the 4th row seats, and our hubby's (who could have cared less about being at a TRAIN concert!) would sit in the 7th row seats! It wasn't until Linda's husband Jim pointed out to Mark that it was ME on stage, that he even started taking photos/videos.......at that point it was too late, and he was too far away.
In one of the shots, you can see me trying to take a picture of Pat and I on my cell phone......that drew a big laugh from the crowd! We even had some witty banter back and forth! What fun, I suggest everyone spend at least one song onstage with their favorite band at least once in a lifetime! It doesn't get much better than that!~
For some reason (perhaps my computerly challenged self) I can't link all the cool photos the photographer took at the concert of me onstage. (Try smugmug.com and then search TRAIN, Brookhaven amphitheater - My photos are on pages 20 and 21) but I can post the pictures that I see every morning when I walk down my stairs - a collage of one of my favorite events....(well, of course, other than marrying Mark, and giving birth to R, K and M!)
Rock on Sistahs!

*squeal* My favorite pictures in the whole wide world!!! I live vicariously through you every time I see these pictures!!
See, when I meet you in real life, and hug you - it'll be like I touched HIM too!
We need to find a good celeb stalker and find out his phone number, so we can call him at 3 in the morning...
"Hey, remember me? Its Laura..."
He'll be like, "OMG, I can't believe I didn't get your name that night..."
AAHHHH! I just die every time you talk about that. He is so HOT! Train is one of my favorites as well.
You lucky girl.
Love the video of the kids singing. I was laughing. That is SO my house!
Brings back memories....of watching you run to the stage with both arms flying in the air!! LOLOL!! That was a good night.
