Another fun weekend........NOT!...

Let me just preface this post by telling you that I'm really not a fan of vomit! (but then again, is anyone really?!)......In other words, PUKE SUCKS - or actually blows chunks! (sorry for the visual, I couldn't resist)

Uck, where do I begin? Thursday night Kelsey said her belly hurt. She went to bed, and then woke up projectile vomiting. Thank God for Mark! He deals with it ALOT better than I do. This man is every womans dream come true!

Friday she stayed home and rested all day. Ryan came off the bus afterschool and his matron told me that a girl in his class left because she got sick in the classroom. Oh great, it's going to be a long weekend, I'm thinking...........

Saturday morning Ryan started showing signs of sickness, while Kelsey showed vast improvement. Mackenzie seemed just fine so Grammy and I decided to take her to meet one of her favorites "friends":

We waited a very long time on line to meet Barney, and while she was very excited when she first saw him, she was a little unsure when we got up close and personal!

After Mack and I got home, Ryan started with the PV (projectile vomiting) I've decided to abbreviate it from here on out seeing as I get queasy even thinking about it. Again, the amazing Mark stepped up to the plate(or should I say puke bucket!) and became almost like a juggling magician catching every spew that came out of Ryans mouth.

By nighttime, we knew it was only a matter of time before Mackie started showing signs, so Mark decided to sleep downstairs close to the washer and dryer with Ryan and Mack. Sure enough, around 1:30 this morning Mackenzie started PV'ing!

It now seems that the worst has passed, (although Mark and I are starting to feel a little queasy!)so please keep us in your prayers that we remain healthy. I hope this bug has left this house. I've done about 12 loads of laundry in the past 2 days.

The saddest thing about this is, it was such a beautiful weekend......blue skies, sunny and warm in the 70's and we were all stuck indoors. I did finally get to go out for a walk today with Kelsey since she's been cooped up all weekend, and after our walk we went shopping for a halloween costume for her......after 6 years of being Disney princesses, she decided this year she's going to be a witch!

Thank goodness THIS weekend is over and thank heaven I married the man I did! Mark truly ROCKS!

Oh no.....I hate PV.

One of the little ones I watched was sick on Friday...cute little bugger, he caught it himself, and I was there in time to have a bucket for round two. YUCK!!!

That man of yours is incredible!!! Emma Sage is lucky to have him for a father-in-law!!!

Sorry your house was caught by this bug...and praying your and Mark stay healthy.

Oh yuck! I hope you guys stay healthy and all your beautiful kids are better soon.

And give Mark a hug for me. Joe is good too, but the girls always want Momma. :) (except Marley who will take either of us)

oh man, I hope you and mark avoid the pv'ing yourselves...i too am married to someone who handles vomit better than i - and to make it even better, he is anosmic (no sense of smell)! he always sleeps on the side of our bed closer to the door, so that any sick little ones naturally get to him first in the middle of the night. but i have to say that i have an uncanny ability to wake up from a totally deep sleep when i hear that tell-tale pre-vomit sound from upstairs...(but i just nudge dh and ask him to take care of it!)

sorry you had to miss such great weekend weather; hope you all are healthy now!
