Birthdays & Mothers Day & Parties, Oh My..................

Have I mentioned lately that we've been really busy the past couple of weekends?! ;)

Our very own Miss Mackenzie turned 4 on May 9th! Wow, did that go by fast!
We had a nice quiet day on her actual birthday and her favorite present turned out to be her new princess camera. She's been sneaking around taking photos of all of us like the paparazzi !

The next day was Mothers Day, so we enjoyed a nice dinner out with Grammy, Aunt Linda and Uncle Tim ~



The following Saturday was our "family party" for both Mackenzie and Ryan's birthdays, complete with cousins, aunts, uncles and friends!

A funny story.....Mackenzie asked for High School Musical 3 Graduation dolls for her birthday, so I told my sister Linda to buy them. Linda called me from Toys R Us and said they had no graduation dolls, just prom dolls, so I said, OK, that's probably what she meant. Well, lo and behold, when Mackenzie opened up the "prom dolls", you could just see her look of disgust! LOL

She then told Linda, I wanted the ones in the graduation gowns, not prom dresses! LOL - too funny!
But then Aunt Linda redeemed herself in Mackie's eyes by also giving her an authentic High School Musical East High cheerleading dress!

Next up at the family party was Ryan's turn to open his presents. At least he was very pleased with Aunt Linda's gift of the Ryan and Kelsey HSM3 prom dolls for him!

Then it was just Ryan's 10th birthday on Thursday. That is INSANE that my baby boy is now a decade old! YIKES! ;) Again we enjoyed another quiet day with just Grammy coming for dinner, cake and presents. Here's my May babies loving on each other after Ryan opened his gift from Mackie:

and here's a picture of Mack in her cheerleading outfit & new glasses, with Kelsey in her very own fashion creation! (Kelsey always feels left out in May, but rest assured, she gets all the attention to herself during her birthday month of July!)


Coming up, another very busy fun weekend! Tomorrow is Ryan's birthday party with his friends at the bowling alley! Sunday is a bbq at a friends house and just wait till you see whats in store for us on Monday. I am REALLY excited for that! Baseball fans, be on the lookout! ;) more pictures to come................
