Summer is just FLYING by........

Can someone please tell me how it got to be mid August already?!

We've been enjoying our summer so far - here's a peek at some of the things that have been keeping us busy!
We spent a wonderful day at the beach~

although do NOT mess with Mackenzie's sand castle if you know whats good for you! LOL

We've been enjoying some pool time~


although DO NOT get too close to Ryan when he's armed with a water pistol! That boy means business! LOL

We even brought out the slip and slide (and yes, I went first to demonstrate! - but there will be no pictures of THAT lovely sight! LOL)

We had a nice day at the playground~


and we've even been catching lightning bugs!


Interestingly enough, the girls seemed to enjoy catching the bugs more than Ryan did!

He was not too thrilled about the idea! LOL

Then we got to celebrate Miss Kelsey's 8th birthday. She had a gymnastics party and oh what fun we ALL had!





Ryan had so much fun on that rope, and now I know why.............

He was Tarzan in his camp show last week! Makes perfect sense to me! LOL
