Drummer Boy................

This year, Ryan started taking drum lessons at school. We bought him a practice drum pad, drumsticks and a drum music instruction book that he takes to school once a week for a 20 minute lesson. He really enjoys it, and loves to come home and practice to show us what he's learned each week. He's really coming along! :)

Anyway, imagine our surprise, when we finally met up with Mark's family for Christmas (a week late thanks to the blizzard) at Aunt Denise's house only to discover that cousin Matthew had recieved a brand new drum set for Christmas! Ryan was in heaven! I mean, seriously, he's never played on anything more than one drum at a time.

I had to take a little video to document his first time ever on a "real drumset"!
Gotta love the sticks above the head to count the beats at the beginning!
