Summertime Fun..................

I can't believe the summer is just about over! Where does the time go? We've been busy hanging out and having lots of fun in the sun.

Here's a quick glimpse into some of the things we've been up to ~

We had a great visit with some of our cousins - We created our very own water park on our front lawn: We also had a picnic dinner in the park and took in (another kiddie show!) a wonderful performance: It was a "Raggs" concert which we had never heard of, but were very entertained by! It's a PBS show, and whats really cool is that one of the main characters is in a wheelchair. I've already emailed my local PBS stations to request that they air this show, I encourage you all to do the same~ Here's a few quick video highlights from our evening:

Then we updated our bikes and went for a ride:

We even spent a lovely day at the beach:



I am convinced that my Kelsey has a future in horror films ~ Her high pitched scream could put even Jamie Lee Curtis to shame!

I'm not sure why it sounds so windy, it wasn't really at all!

We did also manage a trip to the playground where everyone showed off their swinging skills: It's a good thing Ryan & Kelsey have mastered the "self swinging" skill, because it was really getting difficult to try to push 3 kids on swings at the same time! :) (especially when the "kiddie" swings are on the other side of the big swings)


And each day, we've been trying to keep up with some sort of schoolwork, be it reading or writing. I think we have made quite a bit of progress this summer:

Now we are looking forward to the next 2 weekends, we have fun plans for both, and then we head back to school on Sept 3. Like I've said before, time sure flies when you're having fun! I vote that the summer be extended by at least another 2 months! Anyone with me on this?..........anyone?........
