Today was another beautiful day. Realizing that our time of nice weather will quickly be coming to an end, we decided to enjoy this day full force!
Our first stop was to pick up Grammy so that she could join in on our fun.
Next stop was at our church that has set up a wonderful little Happy Harvest Haven (I just made that phrase up, and I really like it! ;) The kids and Daddy ditched their coats because it was so warm and in we went!
Upon arrival, we came across this neat airplane seesaw - perfect photo op!

(notice Ryans arms in the air - it seemed to be a running theme throughout the day, kinda reminded me of that old wedding song staple "Hands Up, Baby Hands Up, give me your heart.....etc......)
Then, we spotted a bouncy house - shoes off, in they go!
They were having fun just jumping around, when suddenly they then spotted ANOTHER bouncy house, that had more things in it, like a slide!
They figured out every which way they could possibly go down this slide and demonstrated different positions over, and Over and OVER again!

At one point, while they were still in the bounce house, a special guest arrived. There was no time to put Mackenzie's shoes back on, we had to move quick for her to meet her idol so I grabbed her out of the house and ran like the wind! LOL
While the kids enjoyed literally bouncing off the walls, Grammy took a seat. Little did she know, she was being stalked by Tigger! LOL
Next up was the corn maze! Ryan was adamant that he was not going in.....no way, no how, he wanted no part of it at first. He much rather would have preferred to bounce all day long.
BUT, seconds after we entered the maze, he became enthralled...we could hardly keep up with him or his sisters!

Oh my goodness, how much fun could this possibly be? ALOT! Running in and out of corn while getting stuck at dead ends? We had a blast!!!! Who knew?!

This next one cracks me up, because it looks like I'm doing a little Irish jig or something, but actually, I was huffing and puffing and yelling "Kids, wait up for Mommy!" LOL
Next year, I am so setting up a corn maze in our backyard! LOL
Upon exiting the maze, Ryan made a new friend, who oinked louder than any pig we've ever met! LOL
All this running and bouncing made us tired, so we opted for some fresh lemonade and a stroll in the pumpkin patch.

(see what I mean about the hands up in every picture, as if to say, What could be better than this?! ;)
Or maybe it was more like, Hey ~ why is there a turkey here when it's not even Halloween yet?! ;)
After our fabulous afternoon fun in the sun, we ventured out to finally find Halloween costumes for the kids. It took us three stores to find exactly what we needed, and everyone is happy now!
The most amazing thing though, was that at each stop we made, someone came over to greet Ryan by name. People Mark and I have never met, but who know Ryan, came over to ask him how school was, and how his summer was! These were kids from both his old school and his new school, none of them with disabilities, but who all went out of their way just to say hello to our amazing boy! :)
Yes, it truly was an awesome autumn day!
