So, we spent last weekend in Boston at the National Down Syndrome Congress Convention. We had the best time meeting up with old friends, and finally getting to meet in person many people we have "known" over the years online. It was one big party all weekend long! I took close to 200 pictures, here's just some of the highlights.

Ryan actually got down on one knee and proposed to Emma Sage http://emmasage.blogspot.com/ so I guess we will have to start planning the wedding!
We also got to spend time with Jack http://nowimamom.blogspot.com/2008/04/little-ditty-about-jack-and-ryan.html and his family. The boys were so happy to see each other again! We all had alot of fun together.
We even did a little sightseeing while we were there - we took a guided tour of the city. Ryan was unsure at first about the open air trolley, while Mackenzie was loving the wind in her hair. Kelsey just wanted to know why the man would not stop talking! LOL I had to explain to her that that's what a guided tour was! The whole time Mark was wearing either a Yankees shirt or hat and somehow we managed to survive without being killed by Red Sox fans - even as the trolley we were on drove by Fenway Park while thousands of people were walking to the game!
We really had a wonderful time. It was so great seeing everyone. I look forward to the next time we all get to hang out together again!
Now, we are only home for a few days, and then we are heading out to Indiana for a family wedding!

Hi, welcome home. It looks like you had a FABULOUS time in Boston. How fabulous it must have been to meet all of your online friends; I'm jealous! The photos of Ryan and Emma Sage are so precious. They are a cute couple! Have a great trip to Indiana.
It was so great meeting you and your whole family!
Still can't believe Mark survived the trip to Boston in all his Yankee's gear.
