They definitely get this from me!.......

A couple of weeks ago, a few friends of ours band were playing an annual outdoor festival. Since it was a daytime event, and because my kids love music, we brought them along. Being the genius that I am, I packed tambourines for them to use while watching the show, so that they can jam along, and not get bored.

We set them up with front row seats:

But once the band began to play, and because they all had "instruments" that Mommy supplied.....there was no stopping them from rocking out with the band!:


and rocking on ~ (DOH what was I thinking!?) Of course, they are part of the band if they have instruments! LOL :


Thankfully, 3 of these band members have been our friends since elementary school, so they are used to our family shenanigan's - at least they've learned from past mistakes......last year their stage was not raised and here's what happened then!:

At least this year, my kids KNEW they were not allowed to go up on the stage!

In other news, Mark has been away on business since last Saturday in Munich, Germany. He made it home safely yesterday and we've been reveling in family fun ever since! Today we all went to see High School Musical 3!
