Last weekend was another successful one! Even better was that we had many loved ones tag along on our fun! Not only did my sister, my mom and my aunt who all live local join us for a wonderful day at the beach, but so did my Connecticut sister and niece, along with our "non-beach loving" friends who we have since converted. Believe it or not, they called us to ask us to go to the beach, even though we were all ready planning to do so with family! I'm still recruiting friends for the 2010 Summer Fun Tour - openings still available! Anyone else care to enlist?! :)

Gotta love Summer! :)
After an amazing day together, we parted ways with our peeps, but our fun was not over yet.
A local radio station was hosting another fabulous concert very close to home.

Who are we to pass up such a cool opportunity?! ;) So we ran home, quickly showered, picked up Mc D's and headed over to the park!

Hey, look what's in MY Happy Meal! ;)

I'm always moved when we go to this park as it has a beautiful 9/11 memorial.

We will never forget that fateful day or the loved ones that we lost. God Bless America!
So the concert started and all hell began to break loose! LOL Guess too much fresh air in one day will do that to the littles! ;)

But the minute KT Tunstall started singing "Black Horse and Cherry Tree", a song we have sung along to on the radio for over a year, not ONE of us could stay seated! :)

In other news, the tiny green sprout that Mackenzie brought home at the end of June in a dixie cup has been spewing tons of giant beans since I repotted it!
I like to call this shot "Mack and the Bean Stalks"!

We still have 2 more weekends left before school starts, and we may just have a thing or two planned up our sleeves! Can't wait to see what fun we are going to experience on our next new adventures! Stay tuned! :)
